FRANK TERMINI

Managing Partner

Frank Termini has 14 years of experience in the patient accounts outsourcing agency sector of the healthcare industry before co-founding HFM. Frank has held board positions for successful outsourcing agencies, illustrating innovation in many areas including marketing, successful legislation reform for the outsourcing agency industry, and many other key areas of healthcare financial management. In addition to working with large hospital administrations, Frank also has experience managing billing and practice management operations for groups of physician practices, as well as imaging and surgery centers.

SANDY SZCZERBOWSKI

Director of Operations

​Sandy Szczerbowski has a resume that spans 25 years, including a directorship of patient accounts for a multi-hospital system provider. During her tenure, she reviewed and worked with many medical billing outsourcing models and agencies specializing in revenue enhancement and financial management services. With this degree-seasoned experience, she is able to communicate with Hospital CFOs and Revenue Cycle Directors alike, and truly understands their needs and the day-to-day fiscal pressures they face to optimize revenue while maintaining compliance with industry regulations, such as HIPAA. Sandy’s areas of expertise in revenue cycle include registration, charge entry, third-party billing, collections, cash application and all related outsourcing programs.

AL STAIDL

Director of Business Development

Al Staidl holds an MBA and has over 30 years of experience in the financial side of healthcare, including his role as Accountant and Credit and Collections Manager for Mac Neal Memorial Hospital Association in Berwyn, Illinois, and Controller – CFO at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, Illinois. He has also held positions as National Marketing Director and Director of the Healthcare Division for two of the largest accounts receivable management companies in the U.S. He is active in the American Association of Healthcare Accounts Management, as well as the American Collectors, Healthcare Financial Management, Medical Group Management, and the Wisconsin Medical Credit Associations.

BETTY NICKOVICH

Hospital Billing Manager

Betty has a Bachelor's Degree from Indiana University and began her medical billing career in 2000. she has been with HFM since 2006 and has worked in all departments from Bad Debt/Self-Pay to Third Party Insurance Follow-Up, which she became manager of in 2017. she is experienced in A/R management, hospital billing, professional billing, credentialing/contracting, and cash posting. Betty has assisted clients with practice set-up, training staff, MACRA education, and creating patient collection workflows.

TRACY MILLER

Collection Supervisor

Tracy has 29+ years experience in the medical billing and collections field. Prior to coming to HFM, she worked for a similar agency for 22 years. During her time there, she held roles in cashiering, Insurance Follow-Up, Technical Supervisor, and Assistant Manager of the of the Pre-Collect Department. Tracy's extensive knowledge and experience has been an asset at HFM since she came aboard in 2011. She started as a Recovery Specialist in out follow-up department and was promoted to Collections supervisor after only two years. On a daily basis Tracy builds outbound calls campaigns within the dialer system for our clients. She assists the reps with escalated calls and monitors the dialer campaigns and staff productivity.

GARRICK GUILLORY

Manager Information Systems

Prior to joining the HFM team in 2012, Garrick worked as an analyst for nine years at  multi-national corporation with customers located in the United States, Canada, Europe, Middle East, and Australia. As manager of Horizon's IS team, he coordinates the onboarding of new client integrations and oversees all ETL processes including the IS infrastructure.

BECKY DYKES

Pro-fee Billing Manager

Becky is a Certified Professional Biller that has 25+ years of experience in medical billing and collections with over 22 years in the capacity of a manager.  Her experience includes multi-specialty physician billing, laboratory billing, physician practice management, insurance follow up, registration, cash application, self-pay pre-collection and collection programs, credentialing and client liaison representation.
